It is with a very heavy heart that following on from the Prime Minister’s statement this evening, we will be closed to all face to face enquiries via our shop front with immediate effect.
We are continuing to offer doorstep deliveries so if you need any help please call us (01572) 722240.
The Government has asked businesses to continue with ”Providing essential services in the home, especially to the vulnerable. In these situations those that visit the home should abide by strict social distancing rules and keep a minimum of 2 meters away from the householder(s).”
As a result we can only enter your home (and therefore offer a connection service) if you are elderly or vulnerable.
Thank you to everyone who has supported us especially over the recent weeks. We have been rushed off our feet and we have been delighted to help so many people in our local community who were isolated and needed help.

This week we unveiled our special delivery service in the Rutland Times.
We are here to help and have extended our free local delivery service to include ALL items in store. Please call us in store (01572 722240) or e/mail us (firstname.lastname@example.org) to arrange delivery.
We are continuing our delivery service with contactless deliveries to keep our teams and our neighbourhoods safe.

For the protection of our customers and for our installation team we will be undertaking “contactless deliveries”
In practice, this means that we insist upon a 2 metre (6 ft) separation between them and any member of your household to minimise the potential of cross-contamination of the virus. It would be preferable if you and household members occupy another room during their visit. They will wear a new pair of disposable gloves during the installation. Refrigerator, freezer and cooker doors will remain unopened but we recommend that the interiors are cleaned before use.
If required, and maintaining the 2 metre rule, the installers will give a brief introduction to the product before they leave but are under instructions not to extend the visit or to even enter your premises if they suspect anyone shows signs of the virus (coughing or suffering from flu-like symptoms). This is to protect them and other customers whose houses they will go on to visit.
If you suspect you may have symptoms of the virus between ordering and the intended date of delivery please contact us.
No paperwork needs to be signed.
We hope you understand that these requirements will help protect you, our staff and your neigbourhood. We will continue to review these arrangements according to official UK Government advice.

We appreciate that we are all experiencing difficult times at the moment but we are here to help.
We are open for business and are here to help the local community wherever we can. To help those households who are self isolating, we are working with local businesses to extend our free delivery service across Rutland to include all items (rather than just large appliances). So should you need anything from a kettle, toaster, vacuum or radio we will happily deliver these for free to you.
Over the past weeks, we have taken extra precautions in respect of hygiene to prevent the spread of viruses both in store and when on deliveries. We do ask that when placing an order that you advise whether you are self isolating so we can protect both you and our team.
